Introduction to the Partnership
The Esports Foundation (EF) has teamed up with adidas in a groundbreaking collaboration. This partnership designates adidas as the Official Kit Partner for the upcoming Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026, where they will create the official uniforms for national teams participating in this global tournament.
Significance of the Esports Nations Cup
Scheduled to take place from November 2, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the ENC marks a significant milestone as the first international esports tournament of its scale. This event aims to bridge the gap between the esports industry and traditional sports, establishing a strong national identity for esports athletes on a global platform.
Details of the Jersey Design
As the Global Partner for the ENC, adidas will supply complete kits for over 100 participating countries, including Indonesia. A total of 2,000 athletes and coaches will receive specially designed jerseys and tracksuits that reflect their cultural identities and national pride.
The official jersey designs will be revealed progressively over the coming weeks, allowing fans to follow the updates through the official website.
Enhancing Competitive Spirit
The Esports Nations Cup is set to be a biennial global competition featuring 16 of the most popular esports titles. Unlike club-based tournaments, the ENC emphasizes national pride and involves over 700 national coaches from 90 leading esports organizations to select the best talents.
Adidas has a long history of equipping athletes across various major sports competitions, and the ENC presents an opportunity to extend that experience into the esports realm.
Prize Pool and Funding Commitment
The inaugural ENC in Riyadh is backed by a total prize pool of $20 million, which will be distributed equally across all competition events. Every player and coach will receive the same amount based on the final rankings of their national teams.
In addition to the prize pool, the Esports Foundation has committed to funding of $45 million, which includes a $20 million Development Fund. This grant is specifically aimed at supporting national teams, travel operations, and the development of local esports ecosystems in each participating country.
