This fall, Apple is expected to roll out significant updates to Siri alongside the launch of iOS 27. The updated Siri will feature the ability to respond to queries based on what’s displayed on the user’s screen and automatically perform tasks across different applications.

Earlier in June, Apple confirmed that its AI features, including image generation capabilities, would come with daily usage limits. This is due to the high processing power required for these advanced functionalities. While the company previously indicated that some increased access was included in existing iCloud Plus packages, Cook's recent comments suggest a new pricing tier may be introduced for customers looking to use AI features extensively.
From a business perspective, this expansion into paid services could create a lucrative revenue stream for Apple. The company recently reported that its services division generated an impressive USD 30.74 billion in revenue over the past few months, bolstered by its subscription ecosystem that includes iCloud Plus, Apple TV, and Apple One.
