Global game publisher GRYPHLINE has officially announced a significant content update for Arknights: Endfield, titled 'Kepulangan'. Scheduled for release on July 16, 2026, this update marks a major milestone, celebrating six months since the game's launch.
Expansion of the Main Story
This upcoming update introduces the largest expansion to the main story yet, bringing players to pivotal moments in the narrative. Set ten years after the catastrophic Very Large Rift event, which devastated the local science station and forced inhabitants to evacuate, players will delve into a gripping storyline.
New Areas and Characters
The update allows players to explore two new key map areas: Yinglung Pass, a gateway to a toxic wasteland, and the North Wuling Exclusion Zone, a devastated homeland now engulfed by the dangerous Blight Miasma. In these new locations, players will encounter a variety of new enemies, including the formidable Blightshade and the boss monster Alleikhreos, Chiliarch, requiring strategic approaches to defeat.
Alongside the new environments, two important characters, Arcane and Liino, will make their debut as playable Operators. Arcane, a special forces captain, plays a crucial role in reclaiming Wuling. This character is notable as the first Caster Operator whose combat mode can dynamically shift based on the balance of Intellect and Will attributes, allowing for versatile roles in combat.
Character Mechanics and Gameplay Enhancements
Liino, on the other hand, is depicted as a famous music idol who mysteriously vanished before a major concert. In battle, Liino serves as an Electric supporter, enhancing team attack power while also providing health recovery for allies.
The player’s Automated Industry Complex (AIC) will also see significant updates, introducing new gaseous materials like Inergen and Xiragen. These innovations will enable the creation of various machines, recipes, and production lines, allowing players to modify material states flexibly among solid, liquid, and gas forms, thus optimizing factory layouts.
New Features and Community Rewards
Additionally, the developers have introduced a new permanent seasonal combat mode called Echoes of War, alongside quality-of-life improvements such as photo mode optimization and DLSS 4.5 graphical support.
In appreciation of the community's support over the past six months, GRYPHLINE is offering a wealth of celebration rewards. Through a series of login events and in-game letters, players can earn over 10,000 Oroberyls for free, along with 10 Limited HH Permits, 5 Basic HH Permits, and a free six-star weapon, Farsight. These rewards are easily obtainable by actively participating in the celebration events.
Moreover, Arknights: Endfield will host exclusive offline activities for fans in Indonesia, in collaboration with Kopitagram, from August 21 to September 5, 2026, featuring limited prizes.
