Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max Coming to Indonesia
Huawei is set to introduce its flagship smartphones, the Pura 90s Pro and Pro Max, to the Indonesian market on August 28, 2026. This latest series promises an array of updates that extend beyond the camera, focusing on design, color options, and durability.
Signature Design with a Fresh Twist
According to Edy Supartono, Senior Retail Manager of Huawei Device Indonesia, the Pura Series retains its signature design identity. However, this new generation introduces a fresh perspective with the concept of Redefined Super Symbol Design. “In the Pura 70 Series, we introduced iconic design with Forward Symbol Design. The Pura 80 Series followed with Dazzling Forward Symbol, and now we are launching Redefined Super Symbol Design with the Pura 90s Pro Series,” Edy explained during a recent roundtable in Jakarta.
A Palette Inspired by Vacation Vibes
The theme for the Pura 90s Pro Series is 'The Rhythm of Color.' The Pura 90s Pro Max model will feature colors inspired by various vacation settings, including golden beaches, blue seas, vibrant sunsets, and evening ambiance. “This time, we are presenting a different design. The Huawei Pura 90s Pro Series represents The Rhythm of Color, which evokes holiday memories and offers an aesthetic design,” Edy added.
For the Pura 90s Pro, the color palette draws inspiration from refreshing drinks typically enjoyed during vacations, with options like Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White, and Mulberry Black. In total, Huawei has prepared seven color choices for the Pura 90s Pro Series, aiming to provide a distinct character for each variant. “Seven colors, seven styles, delivering a very positive vibe,” Edy remarked.
Enhanced Durability Features
Huawei is not just focusing on aesthetics; the Pura 90s Series also boasts improved durability. The devices are equipped with a screen layer that has enhanced anti-reflective and scratch-resistant properties compared to previous generations. The screen’s reflections are claimed to be lower, making it comfortable to use in bright environments.
The Kunlun Glass of the second generation on the Pura 90s Series is said to withstand scratches up to 16 times better and impact resistance is reported to be 25 times stronger than earlier models. “In terms of durability, the strength is significantly improved,” Edy stated when discussing the enhancements made to the Pura 90s Pro Series.
Powerful Battery and Fast Charging
In addition to durability, Huawei has also increased the battery capacity for the series. The Pura 90s Pro Series comes with a battery of up to 6,000 mAh to support daily use, including photography and video recording activities. Furthermore, the devices feature Huawei SuperCharge technology, which includes fast charging support of up to 100W in certain models.
Huawei is excited to bring the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max to Indonesia starting August 28, 2026, with a promotional period running until September 27. “On August 28, we will launch the Huawei Pura 90s Pro Series,” Edy confirmed.
Additionally, Huawei is offering total benefits worth approximately IDR 8.4 million, which includes memory upgrade programs, Huawei Watch Fit 4, installment plans, and one year of Huawei Care+, subject to terms and conditions.
