Infinix has officially unveiled its latest gaming devices, the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station, in Indonesia. These innovative gadgets are designed to transform smartphones into portable gaming consoles, providing users with a more immersive gaming experience.
Collaboration with Blood Strike
To enhance the gaming experience, Infinix has partnered with Blood Strike, focusing on optimizing these devices for first-person shooter (FPS) games. This collaboration aims to improve targeting controls, connection responsiveness, and the overall gaming experience on larger screens.
Features of the GT NX Controller
The GT NX Controller boasts a unique FPS Precision Touchpad, which Infinix claims is the first of its kind in mobile gaming controllers. This technology allows for more precise aiming, similar to using a mouse. The controller utilizes a three-chip architecture designed for low latency, incorporating Millisecond-Level Direct Connect technology. Infinix asserts that the controller can support gaming sessions lasting over 22 hours on a single charge.
Additionally, the GT NX Controller features FPS Tactical Haptics Sync, which provides multiple intensity levels: Low, Medium, and High. This haptic feedback system enhances the gaming experience by delivering vibrations based on in-game situations, such as when a character parachutes or when the play zone shrinks.
GT NX Station for Enhanced Gameplay
The GT NX Station complements the controller by allowing users to play smartphone games on larger screens such as monitors or TVs. This device offers both Extend and Mirror Display modes, along with an integrated TEC cooling system to maintain smartphone temperatures during intense gaming sessions.
The Universal Extend feature enables games to be displayed on an external screen while still allowing the smartphone to be used for other tasks. In contrast, the Mirror Mode duplicates the smartphone's display onto a monitor or TV, providing versatility for gamers.
Connectivity and Availability
The GT NX Station comes equipped with a comprehensive 9-in-1 connectivity system, including HDMI, Ethernet RJ45, two USB-A ports, USB-C, USB-C PD, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. This allows users to connect various peripherals such as keyboards, headsets, and external storage devices.
Both the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station can be purchased through the Infinix Official Store and authorized retail channels. During the flash sale starting September 30, the GT NX Controller is priced at Rp 899,000, while the GT NX Station is available for Rp 999,000.
