iPhone Duo Now Available for Pre-order
The much-anticipated foldable iPhone Duo from Apple is now open for pre-orders, but it has quickly sold out in numerous regions. If you were hoping to get your hands on one, be prepared for delivery estimates to push into late January.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Discounts
If you missed out on the iPhone Duo, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is an excellent alternative, especially with its recent price cuts. The Z Fold8 offers a similar wide-screen aspect ratio, making it a competitive option for those seeking a foldable device.
Pricing Details for Foldables
The iPhone Duo starts at £1,999 for the 256GB variant. It features a 7.6-inch main folding display and a 5.4-inch cover screen, powered by the A20 Pro chipset along with a dual-rear camera system. On the other hand, Samsung's Z Fold8 is currently receiving attractive discounts: the 512GB Ultra model is £560 off its original price, while the standard Z Fold8 with the same storage is £370 cheaper.
Other Deals from Samsung and Google
In addition to the foldables, Samsung's Galaxy S26 series is also seeing significant price reductions. The Galaxy S26 Ultra with 512GB storage has a £490 discount and features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a quad-rear camera setup. Meanwhile, the standard Galaxy S26 is available for £370 less, and the S26+ has a modest £80 price cut for both its 512GB and 1TB options. Google's Pixel 11 lineup is also on sale, with the base model seeing discounts of up to £130 depending on the chosen color and storage configuration.
