The Esports Foundation (EF) has officially unveiled its latest collection for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, coinciding with the international tournament taking place in Paris, France.
Introducing the EWC26 Paris Capsule Collection
This new collection features the EWC26 Paris Capsule Collection, a Player's Jacket, and the inaugural Trading Card Collection in EWC history. The fashion line results from a collaboration between EWC and Berlin-based menswear brand AKOG Hotel (A Kind of Guise). Meanwhile, EF has partnered with Kolex to create a card collection that draws inspiration from traditional sports trading cards, adapting them to the esports ecosystem.
Design Elements Inspired by Paris
The EWC26 Paris Capsule Collection is designed to merge the identity of the Esports World Cup with the visual character of Paris. The collection emphasizes silhouettes, cuts, and premium materials inspired by the lifestyles of professional esports athletes, content creators, and esports club executives. Iconic Parisian and French elements are intricately woven into the designs, featuring motifs like the Esports World Cup trophy and the Eiffel Tower, combined with Toile de Jouy—a decorative pattern with a rich history in French visual culture.
The Exclusive Player's Jacket
In addition to the EWC26 clothing line, EF is reintroducing the Player's Jacket Public Edition in collaboration with AKOG Hotel. For this year's Paris edition, the jacket comes in exclusive color options and is produced in limited quantities. Only 40 units of the Player's Jacket will be released gradually throughout the EWC 2026 event. Each jacket boasts a patch inscribed with “Rise Above,” a significant element of this year's collection. Notably, the Paris patch features a hidden inscription that connects the jacket's owner to the Esports World Cup trophy, making it a unique piece of memorabilia.
Launching the EWC Trading Card Collection
The Esports Foundation is also launching the innovative EWC Trading Card Collection, marking the first official trading cards released by the Esports World Cup through a long-term partnership with Kolex. These cards showcase prominent players and clubs from EWC 2025, serving not just as merchandise but also as a documentation of the tournament's journey over the years. The inaugural edition is categorized into Legends, MVPs, Rookies, Centurions, Prestige, Elite, and Chronicles. The Elite and Chronicles cards are particularly exclusive, with only one card available for each category. Furthermore, the first 100 cards from each major category will be individually numbered and come with a digital twin for collectors.
Dynamic Card Releases Based on Performance
One exciting feature of the EWC Trading Card Collection is that new cards will be released based on player performances throughout the tournament. This means that the EWC 2026 competition will directly influence the card collection's development. Player performances, the emergence of new stars, and historic moments can all become part of the cards that end up in the collection. Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports Foundation, emphasized that each Esports World Cup tournament produces unforgettable champions, new stars, and defining moments. The trading cards encapsulate these moments into a collection that fans can cherish.
Experience the Collection
The EWC Trading Card Collection goes beyond physical cards. Each card includes a QR code to unlock its digital twin via the Kolex app. This system allows collectors to connect their physical cards with their digital versions. Users can also accumulate points through their cards, compete on global leaderboards, and have the chance to unlock various rewards during the EWC 2026 event. This interactive experience aims to elevate merchandise collecting beyond mere purchasing and storing of cards, offering fans opportunities to engage in activities throughout the tournament.
The EWC26 Paris clothing collection is now available through the official EWC store and the EWC 2026 Fan Fest in Paris. Meanwhile, the EWC Trading Card Collection will roll out gradually via the official online store, EWC Fan Fest in Paris, and the Kolex platform. The launch of these fashion items and trading cards illustrates how the Esports World Cup is committed to creating a global esports competition while also establishing a cultural identity and memorabilia that the community can cherish. With Paris hosting the EWC for the first time, the EWC26 Paris collection signifies a new chapter in the tournament's journey.
