PARIVISION has officially emerged as the champion of the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup (EWC) after defeating BetBoom Team with a score of 3-1 in the Grand Final held in Paris, France, on Saturday, July 19. This victory secures PARIVISION a grand prize of $750,000, while BetBoom Team takes home $340,000 as the runner-up.
After losing the first game, PARIVISION demonstrated remarkable resilience, winning three consecutive matches. A pivotal moment occurred during the second game, which lasted over an hour before PARIVISION claimed victory.
This triumph marks the pinnacle of an impressive performance by PARIVISION throughout the tournament, where they showcased dominance from the group stage onward.
Path to the Final
PARIVISION’s journey to the championship was convincing, with only one loss during the Group Stage, which came at the hands of the defending champions, Team Spirit. In contrast, BetBoom Team's journey was much more arduous. Starting from the Survival Stage, they played a total of 20 matches to reach the Grand Final, defeating surprise teams like Nigma Galaxy and Vici Gaming along the way.
The Grand Final Showdown
The Grand Final featured two teams with vastly different trajectories: PARIVISION, who maintained stability throughout the tournament, faced BetBoom Team, who had to fight back from the lower bracket. The first game belonged to BetBoom Team, who relied on their midlaner, Danil "gpk" Skutin, who showcased his prowess as one of the best lane players in the world. Using Slardar against PARIVISION's Ember Spirit, gpk won the laning phase and provided significant advantages for his team, leading them to a victory with a kill score of 18-10 in just under 48 minutes.

PARIVISION's Dominance
In the third game, No[o]ne- took the lead again with Puck against gpk's Earth Spirit. No[o]ne- dominated the early game, winning four consecutive Power Rune battles and setting the pace for the match. Meanwhile, Satanic's Tiny became a late-game threat, and BetBoom Team struggled to keep up with PARIVISION's momentum. The match concluded with a score of 32-16 in 41 minutes, putting PARIVISION ahead 2-1.
The fourth game showcased PARIVISION's best performance of the series. Satanic returned to Lifestealer, and this time, PARIVISION swiftly controlled the game from the start, not allowing BetBoom Team any breathing room. They wrapped up the match with a decisive 29-7 win in just 36 minutes, securing the championship title with a final score of 3-1.
Although No[o]ne- and Satanic shone brightly, the Grand Final Most Valuable Player (MVP) award went to offlaner Evgeniy "Noticed" Ignatenko, who effectively limited the impact of BetBoom's carry, Kiritych, in the last three games.
After the match, No[o]ne- acknowledged the contributions of his teammates and the influence of legendary coach Clement "Puppey" Ivanov in their success. The 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup featured a total prize pool of $2 million, yet despite their victory, PARIVISION's results in Dota 2 will not affect the Esports World Cup Club Championship standings.
