PlayStation has officially unveiled a limited edition lineup of hardware to celebrate the upcoming release of Marvel's Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games. This highly anticipated game is set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026. The special collection includes the PS5 Digital Edition, a DualSense controller, and a console cover that embodies the visual identity of the iconic mutant hero.
Distinct Themes of the Limited Edition
The collection showcases two primary themes: Battle Yellow and Adamantium. The Battle Yellow theme features the iconic yellow hue of Wolverine's costume, complete with claw scratch accents, while the Adamantium theme offers a metallic finish resembling the fictional metal of Logan's claws.

For the console lineup, PlayStation is launching the PS5 Digital Edition Marvel's Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle. This bundle will not be available for the standard disc drive version or the PS5 Pro. However, owners of PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro can purchase the console cover and DualSense controller separately.
Pre-orders will begin on August 19, 2026, through PlayStation Direct, with pricing details yet to be fully disclosed.

A key highlight of this hardware design is the collaboration with renowned Scottish comic artist Mark Simpson, also known as Jock. He has created the key art for Marvel's Wolverine, bringing a traditional hand-drawn ink style to the PlayStation hardware. Jock expressed his desire to portray Wolverine in his most fierce form for the limited edition bundle and accessories.

In the Indonesian PlayStation Store, Marvel's Wolverine is already available for pre-order, priced at Rp1,169,000 for the Standard Edition and Rp1,349,000 for the Digital Deluxe Edition.
