Caviar, a renowned luxury smartphone modification company, has launched a special edition of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. These exclusive devices, part of the "Legends" collection, are themed around three iconic film characters, bringing a unique touch to the already advanced smartphones.
Iconic Film Characters Inspire Designs
The Legends collection features stunning designs inspired by famous characters such as Tony Montana from Scarface, Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather, and the Joker. Each model showcases intricate illustrations that capture the essence of these characters while maintaining the original specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.
Details of Each Edition
- Scarface Edition: This model showcases Tony Montana in a crisp white suit, set against a luxurious gold guilloché patterned background.
- The Godfather Edition: Decorated with an illustration of Don Vito Corleone in a tuxedo, this design includes red rose motifs and a marionette string pattern, paying homage to the classic film.
- Joker Edition: Unlike the other two, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra features the Joker holding a stack of playing cards, created with vibrant purple, green, and burgundy enamel, surrounded by a geometric starburst pattern.
Pricing and Availability
Each of the first two models, the Scarface and The Godfather editions, is priced at $12,560 (approximately IDR 226 million) for the 256 GB storage variant. The Joker edition, being more elaborate, is priced at $12,990 (around IDR 234 million) for the same storage capacity. Caviar produces only 19 units of each design worldwide, ensuring exclusivity for collectors.
Luxury Craftsmanship Techniques
All models in the Legends collection feature a backend crafted using a special technique known as hot cloisonné enamel. This traditional jewelry-making method involves manually applying colored enamel within a wire frame, enhancing the luxury feel of the devices. Additionally, the frames, sides, and camera bumps of each phone are adorned with 24-karat gold, further elevating their opulent appearance.
Each purchase includes exclusive packaging and comes with a 24-karat gold key as a brand identity marker from Caviar. Currently, Caviar is accepting orders for the entire Legends collection, according to reports from KompasTekno.
