Recent developments indicate that four new devices have received the necessary certifications from the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Communication and Digital, which are crucial for their launch.
New Devices Certified for Indonesia
The smartphones in question include model numbers Samsung SM-A276B, Redmi 2606FRN72Y, Redmi 26012RN62Y, and Poco 2606FPC72Y. These models are believed to correspond to the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G, Xiaomi Redmi 17 4G, Redmi Note 17 4G, and Poco C95 Pro 4G, respectively.
Certification Details
These devices have met the technical requirements for sale in Indonesia, as evidenced by their approval from both the TKDN (Domestic Component Level) and Postel certifications. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G, for example, boasts a TKDN score of 40.30%, exceeding the government's minimum threshold of 35% for 4G and 5G smartphones.
Specifications of Samsung Galaxy A27 5G
The Galaxy A27 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. It comes with a robust 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25-watt fast charging. The camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 12 MP front camera. Global Availability and Pricing
Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A27 5G in markets like Germany and the United States, with a starting price of 350 euros (approximately IDR 7.1 million) in Germany and the same price in the US market. The US sales are set to begin on July 14, priced at $350 (around IDR 6.2 million). However, Samsung Indonesia has yet to announce an official release date for the Galaxy A27 5G in Indonesia.
