According to a report by the Financial Times (FT), Kimi K3 is expected to boast between 2 to 3 trillion parameters. This parameter count surpasses that of Claude Opus 4.8, which is estimated to have around 1.5 to 2 trillion parameters. A greater number of parameters generally indicates a model's enhanced ability to process data.

While Kimi K3 may not exceed the capabilities of Anthropic's frontier model, Claude Fable 5, it is projected to closely match its performance.
