Apple has officially launched the iOS 27 Public Beta, allowing iPhone users to experience the latest operating system before its final release scheduled for this fall, around September. I recently updated my iPhone 17e and explored the new features introduced in this successor to iOS 26.

During my testing, I asked Siri AI for match statistics of the France vs. Spain semifinal game in the 2026 World Cup, along with predictions and schedules for the England vs. Argentina match. I was pleased to find that Siri AI provided accurate answers based on available facts.
Furthermore, Siri AI has introduced a Visual Intelligence feature within the camera app. Users can point the camera at an object they want information about, and Siri AI will search the internet and display relevant details. I tested this by identifying two Pokémon, Pikachu and Eevee, and was impressed by Siri AI's accurate responses.
Improved Photo Management with AI Features
Apple has also enhanced the Photos app by incorporating two new AI-driven features: Extend and Reframe, alongside the existing Clean Up feature. These tools allow users to creatively modify their photos, making it easier to achieve the desired aesthetic or correct unwanted elements in images.
As I experimented with these new functionalities, I found them to be quite user-friendly and effective in enhancing my photography experience.
