Introduction to Season Meltdown
Garena Delta Force has officially launched its latest season, named Season Meltdown, which marks one of the most significant updates of 2026. Available from June 30, 2026, this update introduces a variety of new content for both Operations and Warfare modes, including maps, operators, weapons, and enhanced gameplay mechanics.
New Map: AZ3 Nuclear Plant
A highlight of Season Meltdown is the introduction of the AZ3 Nuclear Plant, a large-scale map designed for the Operations mode. This setting plunges players into a nuclear facility facing a catastrophic system failure. As radiation levels rise and infrastructures begin to collapse, players are thrust into a tense survival mission where the stakes are constantly increasing.
Unlike previous maps, the AZ3 Nuclear Plant features a dynamic environment. Conditions within the area evolve over time, ramping up the difficulty as the match progresses. The longer players survive, the more formidable the challenges become, but the rewards also increase in value.
At the heart of the facility lies the H1000, a high-difficulty boss that relentlessly hunts players throughout the match. This presence serves as both a significant threat and a test for teams aiming to secure the best loot available.
New Operator and Weapons
Season Meltdown also brings the introduction of a new operator named N-Two. A former cooling systems engineer, N-Two is intricately linked to the AZ3 Nuclear Plant. Equipped with cryo-tech, he has the ability to slow down enemy movements, freeze strategic areas, and control the tempo of combat, presenting players with new strategic options in both Operations and Warfare modes.
To enhance gameplay variety, Garena has added two new weapons. The RM277 is a bullpup rifle designed to pierce enemy armor, featuring high stopping power with manageable recoil, making it ideal for medium-range combat. On the other hand, the SVCH caters to players who prefer long-range engagements, offering accuracy and effectiveness in applying pressure from afar.
Warfare Mode Updates
In the Warfare mode, a new map called Coliseum has been introduced. This arena blends historical architecture with urban surroundings. A unique feature of the Coliseum is the Fire Events system, a dynamic environmental mechanism that allows flames to spread across various areas during matches.
These fires not only serve as obstacles but can also collapse buildings and reshape the battlefield in real-time. This changing environment forces players to constantly adapt and devise new strategies as the game unfolds.
Exciting Collaboration and Future Content
Alongside these updates, Garena has announced its first collaboration with Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, set to begin on July 10, 2026. This partnership will introduce exclusive Rainbow Six Siege-themed content, including special operator pairs, character skins, weapon skins, and various cosmetic items inspired by the iconic tactical game developed by Ubisoft.
This crossover is one of the most anticipated features of Season Meltdown, promising to offer a fresh experience for fans of both franchises, which emphasize tactical gameplay and teamwork.
In addition to new maps, Garena has plans to release three additional Warfare modes gradually throughout Season Meltdown, ensuring a diverse gaming experience for players.
