Apple has announced a price increase for its Apple Music subscriptions in Indonesia, affecting both individual and family plans. This adjustment is part of a broader trend seen in multiple regions.
New Pricing for Apple Music
According to recent reports, the cost for an individual Apple Music subscription has risen to IDR 59,000 per month, up from IDR 55,000 per month since November 2025. This change represents a monthly increase of IDR 4,000, which totals around IDR 48,000 over a year.
Family Plan Price Adjustment
The family plan has experienced a more significant price hike. Customers will now pay IDR 99,000 per month, an increase from the previous rate of IDR 85,000. This adjustment translates to an additional cost of IDR 14,000 monthly, or approximately IDR 168,000 annually.
The family plan supports up to six members through Family Sharing, allowing each user to enjoy their own music library and personalized recommendations.
Student Plan Remains Unchanged
Interestingly, the student subscription plan has not seen a price change and remains at IDR 35,000 per month, making it an attractive option for eligible users.
Changes to Apple One Subscription
Alongside the Apple Music price adjustments, Apple has also revised its Apple One subscription rates in several countries. Apple One bundles various digital services for a single monthly fee, including Apple Music, iCloud Plus storage, Apple TV Plus, and Apple Arcade.
In Indonesia, the Individual Apple One plan is now priced at IDR 149,000 per month. This marks an increase of IDR 34,000 since its launch in 2020, when it was available for IDR 115,000 per month.
The Family Apple One plan is now set at IDR 199,000 monthly, increasing by IDR 44,000 from its initial price of IDR 155,000 six years ago. Furthermore, the Premier Apple One package is available for IDR 319,000 per month, representing the highest subscription tier.
Similar to the family plan for Apple Music, the Apple One Family package allows sharing among family members while maintaining individual accounts and content recommendations.
With these changes, Apple continues to adapt its services in response to market dynamics, ensuring users receive a comprehensive digital experience.
