Samsung is set to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra next week during its Galaxy Unpacked event. However, luxury brand Caviar has jumped ahead by unveiling a limited edition Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra themed around legendary footballer Lionel Messi.

Caviar presents this custom phone as a tribute to the iconic athlete, featuring exquisite hand-painted cloisonné enamel artwork that depicts Messi adorned in the light blue colors of the Argentine national football team.

The device also showcases the FIFA logo, celebrating Argentina's triumph in the 2022 World Cup, complemented by the official emblem and the Adidas logo. Additional design elements, such as the outline, frame details, Messi's jersey number 10, and symbols representing Argentina, are all accentuated with a layer of 24-karat gold.
Exclusive Packaging and Price Tag
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Messi edition comes in a specially designed royal blue box, also adorned with 24-karat gold, along with a custom Caviar Key. As reported by Engadget, this unique device carries a hefty price tag starting at USD 13,130, which is approximately IDR 235 million.
Limited Availability
While the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra's pricing remains unconfirmed, it is anticipated to be around USD 2,000 like its predecessor. This makes Caviar's custom version nearly five times the cost of the standard retail variant. Additionally, Caviar plans to produce only 19 units of the Messi edition, ensuring exclusivity for those who can afford this luxurious gadget.
For those not keen on spending significantly more for the Messi-themed Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Samsung is expected to reveal the standard edition shortly. The Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for July 22 in London, where Samsung will also showcase the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 with an updated wider design, the Galaxy Z Flip 8, and new wearable devices including the Galaxy Watch 9 series.
