The Oppo Find X10 series has recently made its debut in Europe, following its initial release in China just a month prior. As anticipation builds for these models, we want to know: Are you excited about the Oppo Find X10 or the more advanced Find X10 Pro Max?
Pricing and Pre-Order Perks
Before diving into the features, let’s address the elephant in the room: pricing. The Oppo Find X10 series is on the higher end of the spectrum. For instance, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, featuring 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, retails for around £1,450 / €1,700 / ₹170,000. While Oppo is offering some pre-order incentives, the overall cost may deter some potential buyers.
Key Features of the Find X10 Pro Max
The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is packed with impressive specifications, including a triple camera system featuring three 200MP sensors. The main camera uses a 1/1.3” sensor, while the telephoto and ultra-wide lenses utilize 1/1.56” sensors. The selfie camera is no slouch either, boasting a 50MP sensor for clear and sharp photos.
Performance Insights
Under the hood, the Pro Max is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, which has shown to outperform Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in several tests, although it does have some thermal management challenges. The standard Oppo Find X10 is equipped with the slightly less powerful Dimensity 9600M chip, which is still competitive in terms of performance.
Comparing the Find X10 and Pro Max Models
When comparing the two models, the Pro Max offers superior camera capabilities and a larger display at 6.78 inches, while the standard Find X10 has a smaller 6.59-inch screen. Both models share a battery capacity of 7,150mAh in Europe, but the Pro Max originally featured an 8,000mAh battery in other regions. Charging speeds are capped at 80W wired and 50W wireless for both devices.
As we consider the launch of these devices, we invite you to participate in our weekly poll. Are you inclined to purchase an Oppo Find X10 phone? Or does the Pro Max’s price tag feel too steep? Your feedback is valuable!
