Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max Listed Ahead of Global Launch

Xiaomi has recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, in China. Following the announcement, the company confirmed plans to launch these models globally. Now, ahead of their international release, Italian retailer Epto has listed both phones, providing insights into their pricing, specifications, and available colors.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Pricing and Variants

The Xiaomi 18 Pro is available in two configurations. The base model, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, is priced at €1,398.90. For those needing more storage, a version with 512GB of storage also exists, retailing for €1,591.90. This pricing suggests that while the device is premium, it remains competitive within the flagship market.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Specifications

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max comes exclusively with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, priced at €1,783.90. Interestingly, some listings show this model in white and Velvet Red with varying model numbers at a slightly lower price of €1,761.90. This pricing discrepancy might suggest some promotional strategies or variations in retailer pricing.

Color Options for European Market

Both the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will be available in black, white, and Velvet Red for the European market. This differs from the Chinese launch, where the phones were offered in black, white, pink, and blue, with the red variant being part of a Transparent Special Edition. Thus, European customers will miss out on the pink and blue options but will benefit from a standard red choice.

Battery Specifications and Performance

According to the listings, the European versions of the devices will feature smaller batteries than their Chinese counterparts. The Xiaomi 18 Pro is equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery and supports 90W wired charging, compared to the 7,000 mAh and 100W charging seen in the Chinese model. Meanwhile, the 18 Pro Max’s battery capacity has been reduced from 8,500 mAh to 7,050 mAh, while maintaining 100W charging capabilities. Epto's listings indicate a battery endurance of 66 hours for the Pro and 70 hours for the Pro Max, with both models rated for 1,000 charging cycles.

Both devices are powered by robust chipsets: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in the 18 Pro and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 in the Pro Max. Additionally, they operate on HyperOS 4, ensuring a smooth user experience. While the prices are slightly lower than previous leaks, the devices still reflect a premium price point, reinforcing Xiaomi’s position in the high-end smartphone market.
