The Galaxy Z Fold8 boasts a thinner and lighter design, making it the lightest Galaxy Z Fold model Samsung has ever produced. When opened, it measures approximately 4.5 millimeters thick and weighs around 201 grams. Ilham remarked that this new design is expected to inspire user behaviors previously unimaginable with a smartphone.

Despite its lighter weight, Samsung has ensured that essential features are not compromised. The Galaxy Z Fold8 comes equipped with a larger battery capacity compared to its predecessor, utilizing silicon-based battery technology.
